Well, its official, Drag and drop is fully released to everyone! Thanks to everyone who has given us feedback and to everyone who voted on this feature. As with any major feature there is still more to do, but we're very happy with the foundation we've built for allowing anyone on the team to create and edit beautiful and engaging email templates.

Quick update: We're currently working hard to get this ready for Beta early this year. With a feature like this, there are a number of changes required to make sure we create the best user experience possible so to make sure we get the editor in your hands earlier, these changes will come in stages.
Our first release will include a stand alone drag and drop template builder accessible from the templates section which you can use to create brand new fully responsive and supported email templates to use in your campaigns. Starting here lets us release the beta and gives you a chance to use it and give us feedback.
While the beta is open for you to try out and use, we will continue working on integrating the drag and drop editor into the campaign creation flow. Subsequent releases will include some changes to how you choose the type of content to include in a campaign, the ability to create a drag and drop template directly in the campaign and some additional changes to the AB/Testing and Languages features, to accomodate the new editor.
We'd also love to get some feedback before our beta release, so please let me know here if you'd be willing to chat to us and give us some feedback via a video call.

Bee embeddable editor can help build this feature much earlier. I've seen a lot of email tools using the same editor.
